Upmarket pub at the heart of our community
We have regular live music, quiz nights and love live sport. We have both Sky and BT packages and show all premiership matches on our large screen TV – there’s no better place in Stanwix to watch the game with friends. We offer a selection of Bowls and Boards great for sharing and sociable dining with friends, all freshly prepared to your individual order plus a great Sunday roast every Sunday! There is always a great selection of real ales, craft beers, fine wines, non-alcoholic drinks and fresh coffees. This makes The Crown the perfect place to spend time with family and friends. The Crown Inn was built by architect Harry Redfern in 1937 and was one of the original Carlisle Pubs in the Government’s Pub Management Scheme that ran right until the early 70’s in the city.
