Handcrafted Christchurch Pizza since 1978
Spagalimis Pizzeria was first opened in may 1978 at the corner of Colombo and Kilmore Streets, Christchurch. Initially the restaurant had eight tables, seating approximately 44 persons, with only seven employees, and takeaways available.
Due to the very consistent and quality product, demand increased until at peak periods we were unable to satisfy demand. So in may 1991, after an exhaustive search for the correct site, we opened at 155 Victoria Street, Christchurch (This site has now closed and our new site is just up the road on the corner of Salisbury St and Montreal St in Ironside House).
From this point in time the demand for Spagalimis pizzas and its other products continued to grow. Spagalimis Church Corner was opened in 1995. This store is located at 374 Riccarton Road, Christchurch.
Since then other stores have opened that provide takeaway and delivery services These are located at New Brighton (218 Marine Parade – dine in as well), Sydenham (300 Colombo Street) and Redwood (356 Main North Road – Corner of Prestons).
We now deliver to most areas of Christchurch. So whether you want to dine in, pick up or have a pizza delivered – all your bases are covered.
