About us
Nature's Finest, Beautifully Served.
Historically, it was believed that the name Espinardo came from the surname Espinardo, from a family of Genoese merchants living in the town during the Middle Ages, until four ESO students (Nerea Vila, Raquel Nicolás, Julia Castro and María Manchón) carried out a study etymological with which they discovered that the name Espinardo is what the Romans called (in Vulgar Latin) a plant, salsola vermiculata, very abundant in the area, and which the Romans used to extract soda to make soap. And it is with the name Salsola that we wanted to pay tribute to Espinardo in a new restaurant. A spacious and modern grill restaurant where you can enjoy traditional cuisine, with signature dishes, and with special dedication to embers.
