la belle idée was born in 2010 as la petite idée , from guillaume and cédric's desire to create a genuine and gourmet experience. after years of work and development, the restaurant evolved in 2023 into a sophisticated gastronomic brasserie. deeply rooted in grenoble, la belle idée also draws inspiration from the great parisian brasseries, whose iconic dishes it reinterprets. this alchemy between parisian flair and local traditions gives rise to a generous, elegant, and authentic cuisine, true to its terroir and its history.
