Enjoy the Taste of Authentic Homemade food in Dénia to Take Home.
It goes back three generations, to my grandmother Pepita, who started working in the kitchen as a young girl, and that's where her passion and mine began.
Thanks to her knowledge, she taught me the traditional flavors of the region and her love for rice dishes, her rich chicken or fish broth made with our products from the Dénia fish market, the secret to the sofrito of vegetables... And so, little by little, she passed on her legacy and wisdom to me.
Today, we have more than 15 types of rice dishes and more than 40 other dishes.
Less than a year ago, my partner in crime and fellow traveler decided to take things a step further in the kitchen and opened a croquette shop in Els Magazinos to create delicious croquettes, remembering my grandmother's recipes.
Those that were made with the leftovers from the stew. Traditional croquettes: free-range chicken, ham, fish with the essence of suquet (a traditional fish stew), salt cod, rice mixed with an excellent roux and fresh goat's milk, and a crispy breading, all made with rustic bread.
Today, we offer more than 29 flavors and crispy croquettes.
Words can't describe it, but that's the essence and tradition we want to convey in our restaurants, respecting tradition while adding our own personal touch.
