Initially Roc Center, it was inaugurated in October 1995 and was at the time the second facility in Italy dedicated exclusively to sport climbing.
In September 2006 it was transformed into Roc Palace when Stefano and Roberta took over and renovated the gym both structurally and organizationally, starting with sport climbing courses for children.
The goal is to promote sport climbing among young people, both at a promotional and competitive level. But Stefano and Roberta want to grow, introduce lead climbing, and make the gym bigger, newer, and more comfortable. And so, in January 2016, New Rock was born.
