About us
Paduan Freedom is Universal for Everyone
The Enrico Bernardi Machine Museum houses precious examples of internal combustion engines that shaped the history of European motor technology in the second half of the 19th century. From the first Pia engines to the four-stroke Lauro engines, to the three-wheeled vehicle, all the exhibits are the work of Enrico Bernardi and represent milestones in Italian engineering. In addition to the engines, the museum preserves the inventor's autographed notebooks, drawings, and original notes, allowing visitors to retrace the thinking and insights that led to his extraordinary innovations. Thanks to films and interactive displays, visitors can observe the engines in action and delve into every detail of the collection.
