at mahotsav restaurant & bar, we believe food is more than just taste — it’s a celebration of identity, tradition, and community. while efforts are being made to place nepali cuisine on the global stage, many still take its richness for granted. too often, authentic dishes are overlooked with the common phrase, “why eat dal bhat outside when i can have it at home?” over the years, the word “authentic” has lost meaning in nepal’s restaurant scene, with many serving the same meals under different names. but at mahotsav — a proud continuation of the legacy set by our sister brand utsav since 2009 — authenticity is at the heart of everything we do.
