Eagle Mill is an 18th Century millworker’s cottage which has had a purpose built, architect designed bed and breakfast extension attached.
The area has a countryside feel yet it is convenient to the market towns of Huntingdon and St Ives with Cambridge being a mere 13 miles away. The fast train from Huntingdon will deliver you to London Kings Cross within 50 minutes.The twin villages of Houghton and Wyton lie a short stroll away, as do the wondrous countryside and river walks of the Ouse valley. The villages boast two traditional pubs offering good food, a busy independently owned traditional shop, two tea rooms, an antique shop and an amazing art gallery which showcases the eclectic talent of local artists.
The only operational water mill on the River Great Ouse is situated in Houghton and it is maintained by the National Trust.
