About us
One opera, a thousand emotions
Directed by Anass Ismat since 2015, the Chœur de l'Opéra de Dijon is an ensemble of permanent lyric artists founded to perform the major works of the repertoire.
It performs in the Auditorium and Grand Théâtre of Dijon, in the context of the Opera season, and also tours throughout the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, France and abroad, notably for coproductions with other opera houses.
It plays an important role in the development of pedagogical actions, as well as projects for audiences located far from the cultural events promoted by the Opera.
Between 2022 and 2024, the Choir has developed a new joint project to promote the choral repertoire with the Cité de la voix, and has organised two new editions of its masterclass for young student choir conductors.
