Altes Zollhaus is an upscale restaurant in a beautifully restored 19th-century timber-framed building directly on the Landwehrkanal in Kreuzberg, established in 1989. Once used as a depot for street cleaning and later as a toll station for steamboats, the building today serves Berlin-Brandenburg cuisine 'reloaded,' recognized with a Gault Millau toque, alongside an extensive wine list including selections from the restaurant's own vineyard in the Südpfalz.
