la esquina del real is located in the habsburg district, right on the corner of amnistía and unión streets, a perfect location for dinner after an evening at the opera or an afternoon of reading in the sabatini gardens... enjoy a meal after a stroll through the plaza de oriente admiring the royal palace , the almudena cathedral or visiting the new museum of royal collections ... all of them places steeped in history... and as the perfect ending to a perfect plan, enjoy the best french cuisine in the capital at the la esquina del real restaurant. a bistro decorated with copperware and small relics brought from france, all surrounded by grand stone pillars, wooden beams, and exposed brick… and with these elements, our chef prepares one of the most flavorful oxtail parmentiers in the capital, steak tartare, duck confit, shell-less scargots bourguignonne, or offal, so rarely seen on other restaurant menus these days… we can't forget the famous onion soup topped with a gratinéed cheese… a true delight. all made with the finest locally sourced ingredients.
