  history from rovato to brescia located in the heart of the franciacorta hilly region and just a few kilometers from lake garda, brescia is known for its local gastronomic excellence: caviar, casoncelli (a type of pasta), and its renowned sparkling wine. it was here in 1960 that lidia gatti, a knight of labor, took over the management of the popular rosticceria milano, a restaurant that a few decades later would become ristorante 19/60. originally from rovato , a small town in the province of brescia, lidia gatti began a long and passionate quest to discover the vast local culinary heritage. brescia in a postcard from 1969 from rosticceria to restaurant thanks to his efforts, rosticceria milano quickly established itself on the brescia restaurant scene. following this success, in 1985 the rotisserie changed its name to la trattoria, and thanks to the creativity of new chef silvana zanotti , daughter of lidia gatti, the repertoire became increasingly rich and modern. finally, 2016 marks another important step in the restaurant's history. the trattoria becomes ristorante 19/60 , in reference to the year of its foundation (1960) and the founder's birth year (1919), and its identity is revisited. come and try our cuisine
