D Artagnan

About us

  Gascon Grit, Musketeer Loyalty

e had a great family background because my parents ate and drank very well, and we learned from them. After I married Antônio, we started traveling and prioritizing gastronomy on our trips. We always had friends over and cooked for them. There were many times when someone jokingly said that I should open a restaurant.” 20 years of a cozy, welcoming, and relaxed atmosphere. A gastronomic quality that has earned customer loyalty year after year. D'Artagnan is a bistro located in the charming Lourdes neighborhood. The menu features a varied and contemporary cuisine with diverse influences, including French, Italian, and Minas Gerais cuisine, as well as dishes from the Rache family's life, which are part of Chef Marise Rache's memories. The selection of products is quite rigorous, always prioritizing high quality and organic ingredients. Marise learned to enjoy fine dining from her parents, Lygia and D'Artagnan, who traveled the world, always dining in good restaurants and, upon returning, recreating the best dishes for their five daughters, of whom Marise is the youngest. The family's life revolved around the kitchen. Nadir, the cook who worked with the family for years, was, along with her mother, Marise's great teacher. Chef Marise is an architect by training, but she has always studied and read extensively about gastronomy, techniques, recipes, and researched fine cuisine, as she had a passion for going to restaurants. One day she saw that a small shop, formerly a pharmacy near her home, was for rent and decided to open it, along with her sister Denise, who makes delicious cakes, to operate during the day. Everything was ready, however, when she put together the menu she realized that everything she had chosen were dishes more appropriate for dinner, and that's how D'Artagnan bistro was born, which takes inspiration from some of her favorite restaurants that she frequented during her travels. "It's an honor to reach 20 years in business in a challenging market like Belo Horizonte. We are very proud of our journey." Home - D'ARTAGNAN The main inspiration for naming the house was Marise and Denise's father: D'Artagnan. Furthermore , he is the leader of the Three Musketeers in literature.
