Since 1995, the Kingfishers Bridge Nature Reserve has transformed 250 acres of farmland into a variety of wetland habitats and become a vital sanctuary for numerous endangered species of the Fens. Situated some fifteen miles north of Cambridge and bordered by the River Cam, the Reserve has employed pioneering conservation techniques that have led to a remarkable recovery in both flora and fauna.
